Coleraine and Ballymena United shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at The Showgrounds.

The home side dominated the first half.

Davy McDaid and Eoin Bradley both had efforts deflected just off target in the opening 12 minutes.

Bradley drew a decent saveout of Aaron Shanahan on 25 minutes from Ruairi Harkin’s dangerous free in. And the big stopper was at full stretch to push away another McIlmoyle free moments later.

From the resulting corner Bradley crashed a header off the post.

The striker finally broke the deadlock 10 minutes before the break as he fired in from the spot after he was fouled by Michael Ruddy.

Eugene Ferry was almost caught out by a long range effort by Gavin Taggart on 56 minutes, but the keeper did well to tip it around the post.

The visitors went even closer on 72 minutes as Teggart crossed for Kelly, but his clever flick was cleared off the line by Beverland.

Right on 90 minutes Allan Teggart drew his side level from the spot after Aarron Canning was penalised for hand ball.
