Linfield sign Josh Carson and Stephen Fallon ahead of Saturday's Danske Bank Premiership kick-off

Blues boss David Healy has secured deals for midfielders Josh Carson and Stephen Fallon.

Carson – who has won four senior caps for Northern Ireland – has spent the last four seasons at York City.

Fallon (19) makes his move to Windsor Park permanent after an initial six-month loan spell from Swansea City.

“Josh is another quality signing – he has a great left foot and is strong on his right,” Healy told the club’s official website.

“He can also play in a number of positions in the attacking area.

“I hope Stephen can hit the ground running - he left Swansea and has a lot of ability going forward.”

Linfield have already added the names of Roy Carroll, Sammy Clingan, Cameron Stewart, Matthew Lynch and Chris Casement to their squad during the summer.

They kick-off their Premiership campaign against Ballinamallard United at Ferney Park on Saturday.
