Distillery thought they had taken the lead today when Nathan McConnell had the ball in the net early on but his effort was correctly ruled out for off side.
John Brendan Dobbin worked keeper Ryan McBride in the home goal on 20 minutes in an odd sortie on the Distillery goal and two minutes later the young keeper parried a strong effort from Adamczyk and quickly corrected his position to confidently deal with the follow up cross from Peter Steele.
The Whites were reduced to nine men in the second half with Ben Browne and Stuart Thompson both being sent off.
