County Antrim slipped to a 2-0 defeat in the final of the Dale Farm Milk Cup Junior Section as Corinthians became the first South American team to win the category.
Fabricio and Bilu grabbed the goals in the first half for the Brazilians as they claimed victory in the showpiece final.
Fabricio Keiske was the star of the show. Not only did he score the opening goal, he also won Player of the Match, Player of the Tournament and the Golden Boot award, hitting seven goals.
Corinthians star Fabricio earned his side a free-kick in the 12th minute on the edge of the box when Antrim defender Kevin Cunningham barged into his back. Fabricio stepped up the mark and swept a stunning 20 yard free-kick into the top corner.
The Brazilians’ second goal arrived in the 26th minute. Attacking midfielder Bilu picked the ball up on the edge of the area and riffled the ball in off the crossbar.
The second half passed off without much incident so when the full-time whistle was sounded, it was greeted with wild celebrations by the boys from Brazil as they claimed their maiden Milk Cup.
