Ronnie McFall is confident Seaview’s artificial pitch won’t derail Portadown’s quest for victory on Saturday afternoon.
The Ports head to north Belfast hoping to keep the pressure on Danske Bank Premiership leaders Cliftonville.
McFall’s side sit second in the table following an encouraging start, and he hopes they can continue their upward curve with maximum points from their trip to the Shore Road.
And with the club’s injury list mounting by the week, McFall also hopes Crusaders’ 4G surface doesn’t hinder his side’s progress.
“I am not a fan of that kind of surface, but we have to just concentrate on our own game and try to play the way we can,” McFall said.
“We are not used to playing on these pitches so it makes it difficult when you play the likes of Crusaders and Cliftonville.
