Derry City boss Peter Hutton has urged his players to finish the job when they take on Aberystwyth Town in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The Candystripes already have one foot in the second qualifying round following last week’s 4-0 win over the Welsh side at the Brandywell.
Derry head into Thursday’s second leg at Park Avenue with everything to lose.
But instead of taking a defensive approach to the game, boss Hutton wants his players to punish Aberystwyth with more goals.
“We want to go out and try and win the second leg,” he said.
“They are the ones who are 4-0 down so they will come out chasing the game and try to score early.
“We have to be cautious but we will not sit back and defend for 90 minutes.
“If we score a goal then the tie is over. We would be five goals ahead and I can’t see them scoring six against us at their ground.
“We will go out and enjoy it and hopefully get another win.”
