Windsor Park played host to the semi-finals of the Schools Senior Cup, with the day proving to be a great occasion for all the young players involved.

St Columb’s College took on St Malachy’s in the first game and booked a place in the final with a 2-1 win.

The scoreline was replicated in the second game of the day with St Louis Grammar narrowly defeating St Joseph’s Boys Derry, with St Louis’ Eamon Fyfe, who was Man of the Match proving to be the difference between the two sides.

Meanwhile the atmosphere created by the supporters from the schools involved in the two semi-finals was amazing.

The semi-finals came on the back of some exciting quarter-finals ties which included the festival at the City of Belfast Playing Fields.

There are more semi-finals to be held before soon with St Louis Grammar hoping to make it to the U18 final as well.
