Dungannon Swifts boss Darren Murphy was one of many admirers of Portadown’s demolition of Ballinamallard United last weekend – but he hopes there will be no repeat on Saturday.
The Swifts head to Shamrock Park to face Ronnie McFall’s free-scoring side in another intriguing Danske Bank Premiership clash.
Dungannon have enjoyed an encouraging start of their own to sit fourth in the table – level on points with the Ports who lie second.
“Portadown have those kind of results in them. I was on the receiving end of an 8-2 defeat against them a while back,” Murphy said.
“But it is a challenge I relish. We have to go there and be positive.
“Portadown are a quality side and I believe if they keep their main nucleus of players fit then they will be genuine title challengers.”
