Cliftonville boss Tommy Breslin is hoping his champions can rediscover the form that helped them claim the title last season.
The Reds have struggled to find consistency this term and have already lost three fixtures in the Danske Bank Premiership.
Injuries have hampered the Solitude club’s title defence to date, but Breslin hopes they can build some momentum in the weeks ahead – starting on Saturday against derby rivals Crusaders.
“Injuries have hit us, but that isn’t an excuse,” he said.
“We haven’t managed to find that consistency yet, something which we were good at last season.
“But it is early days, and if we can start getting some fluency to our play then things should improve.”
