Glenavon will have it all to do in Lurgan next Thursday after three late goals delivered hammer blows to their Europa League dreams.

In the end fitness was the difference between the two sides but for over 80 minutes the visitors matched their opponents.

The hearts of the travelling supporters were broken on 82 minutes when substitute Ingimundur Niels Óskarsson was found by Atli Björnsson to give FH the lead on 82 minutes.

Gudnason then took advantage as Glenavon lost possession from a corner to score with a clever finish on 90 minutes, and he piled on the misery in stoppage time, adding a third after being set up by Emil Pàlsson to leave Gary Hamilton’s men with a mountain to climb.
