Ballinamallard United manager Whitey Andersoin is under no illusions as he prepares for Tuesday’s Irish Cup replay with Strabane Athletic.
The two sides fought out a 0-0 stalemate in a tense fifth round tie on January 11 at Ferney Park.
They will renew rivalries at the same Fermanagh venue on Tuesday (7.45pm), with the winners progressing to a last 16 clash with Glenavon.
“We knew this would be a very difficult tie, and Strabane proved that in the first game,” Anderson said.
“It was a tight game that probably deserved to finish as a draw.
“Strabane were combative and made life difficult for us, and I would expect more of the same on Tuesday.
“We just have to make sure we take our chances in the replay. We haven’t been scoring many goals recently, so that has been a problem.
“If we can win 1-0 on Tuesday, that would do me fine. The main thing is winning and progressing to the next round of the competition.”
