Maria Dunne (Skerries), who was also included in the Curtis Cup squad, ended the tournament in ninth place.

Meanwhile, Jim Carvill (Banbridge) and William Blackwood (Ardglass) won the UIster Scratch Foursomes with scores of 77/71 (148) at Malone GC.

Nicholas McClay (Larne) and Colin McGucken (Cairndhu) finished one shot back in second after rounds 77/72.

Defending champion Desmond Shearer and Peter McHugh (Malone) led the way after round one with a 74, two shots clear of the field.

Unfortunately, a second round 77 saw them finish three shots behind the eventual winners.
