ENGLAND 4 IRELAND 1

Ireland will face England in Sunday’s final of the Investec London Cup.

Although the Irish were beaten 4-1 by the hosts in Saturday’s final pool game, they still progressed to the showdown - to be screeen on Sky Sports - thanks to Scotland losing to South Africa in the other pool game.

Goals from Barry Middleton, Alastair Brogdon and Harry Martin put England three up at the break.

They conceded their first goal of the tournament as Ronan Gormley pulled one back for Ireland, but Henry Weir added a fourth for the hosts.

Scotland failed to get throught as they slipped to a 3-2 defeat to South Africa to end the tournament without a win.
