Irish Indoor bowls championship launched

The Irish Indoor Bowling Association National Indoor Bowls Championship finals are scheduled to take place on Saturday 22 March , from 1.00pm, at Richhill Recreation Centre.

The event will see the, National singles, pairs, triples and rinks taking place along with the ladies single, ladies pairs, ladies triples the junior singles and the over 55s pairs; which have all been played down to final stages.

The event attracts hundreds of bowls enthusiasts from all over the North and South of Ireland and guarantees some fantastic bowling from the finalists.

David Sterrit, IIBA President is looking forward to the event and commented, “We are delighted to be back at Richhill for the finals of the IIBA Championships.

“Over several years this has been an excellent venue and we are deeply indebted to Armagh City and District Council for providing us with the facility.”

The Lord Mayor of Armagh City and District, Councillor Robert Turner said, “I am pleased to welcome back for the fifth year the National Bowls Championship finals to

Richhill Recreation Centre. With so many talented players taking part in this year’s event it is hoped that everyone will have a fun and enjoyable day.”

Everyone is encouraged to come along to show their support on the day and watch some of the best players from around the country competing.
