Marc McCullough is looking to put down a marker at the Odyssey on April 4.

The talented Belfast featherweight faces Andrei Isaeu in a clash for the WBO European belt on the undercard of Carl Frampton’s Final Eliminator for the WBC World title.

McCullough starred on his last outing against Willie Casey, when he claimed the Irish title and the former Cairn Lodge amateur says he is far from finished.

“It would be another title but this is a bigger title than the Irish belt.

“This is going to be a tough fight even though I have not seen much of my opponent, I know he went the distance with Rendall Munroe and some people say he should have won that fight.

“I want to make a statement and get my name out there.

“And I believe apart from Lee Selby that I am the best featherweight in the UK.

“Selby is in a league of his own but I am second in line. There is no-one else who would scare me,” he added.

And McCullough says tickets for the fights have been flying out.

“I sold my tickets ages ago and even got a few more.It is a massive night for boxing in Belfast and I am out to impress,” he added.

Also on the bill Jamie Conlan and Eamonn O’Kane will fight for titles.

O’Kane after beating Kerry Hop for the IBF Inter-Continental title last year is ranked nine by the IBF, so he will be looking to move on.

And Conlan - needs a title to keep him on track to becoming of the top super flyweights in the World.
