Mark Hoy and Rachel Gibson won the Elite events at the Bannister Festival of Miles at the Mary Peters Track.
The meeting organised by NI Running in conjunction with the British Milers Club and sponsored by ChampionChip Ireland attracted record numbers of the ten races.
Irish Universities champion Mark Hoy from the Finn Valley Club made his intentions clear from the start going quickly into the lead.
He was soon well clear and won in 4 minutes 19.03 from Scott Rankin and James Speight.
Former Schools champion Rachel Gibson also led from the gun to win from North Down team mate Jessica Craig after an excellent contest. Wendy Davis and Helen Stockdale followed.
The earlier races were very competitive with victories going to Rory Kelly, Amanda Jackson, Mark Ramsey, Kevin McVeigh, Lyndsey Pronger, Michael Thompson, Martin Agnew and Stephen Wylie. It was a very good meeting for all the athletes.

David O’Flaherty, Seamus Lynch, David Steele and Ian Bailey will be fancied in tonight’s fourth round of the Hill And Dale Mountain Series at Binnian. The race over two miles including 2,000 feet of climb and is all uphill finishing at the top of Binnian.
Diane Wilson, Catherine O’Connor and Shileen O’Kane occupied the top three positions in all of the earlier rounds and a repeat could be on the cards. The race starts at 7.30.
