Martin Lindsay got the perfect warm-up before his Commonwealth title tilt against Josh Warrington in Leeds on May 21.
Lindsay took less than three rounds to get rid of Krzysztof Rogowski at the Devenish Complex on Saturday night.
And Lindsay says he is now focused on facing Warrington for his Commonwealth title.
“I can focus on Warrington now and it is good to get this out of the way.
“Warrington is a talented kid and he reminds me of myself when I was younger. He puts his shots together well but I believe I can cause him problems. These are the fights you have to take and give the fans something to cheer about. It is a big opportunity for me and I intend taking it.”
Also at the Devenish on Saturday Paul Hyland jnr got his professional career off to a good start as he saw off Zoltan Horvath on points.
Hyland looked the part but was frustrated by Horvath holding on for dear life.
Luke Wilton also got a win as he out-pointed Stefan Slavchev. It was a hard night for Wilton as Slavchev was on the move from the opening bell.
And James Fryers looked good as he beat Alec Bazza on points after Bazza had been on the deck twice.
