Ballybrakes Community Indoor Bowls Club is throwing its doors open in a bid to attract new members.

Club officials will welcome visitors on Tuesday, September 16 and 23 and Friday 19 and 26, from 7-9pm. There will be sessions on Thursday 18-25, from 2-4pm -- all free of charge.

“The Leagues will commence Monday, September 29, all entries must be received by Thursday September 25,” said Donna McCloy.

“Rink fees will remain the same as last year, £3 for members and £4 for non-members.

Membership fees will also remain the same. Full membership £55; Senior Citizen £50; Restricted House and Junior £20.

“Club officials would ask anyone interested in joining to come along and give it a go on one of the open days.

“If you haven’t played before or have a short mat background, there will be plenty of people available to advise and help you. Bowls will also be available.”

The stadium is also available to hire for functions, fundraising events, birthday parties, concerts, short-mat tournaments and fun bowls.

Please contact the stadium for further details. For full details, contact Donna McCloy (telephone 07764 469006) or by e-mail
