Jodi Smith followed her Portaferry victory with another success in the Lacpatrick Milk Run, promoted by the Springwell Club.
The North Down athlete was always prominent as she came in 16 seconds before the in-form Gemma McDonald from the host club, with North Belfast’s Cathy McCourt and Ballydrain’s Denise Logue filling the next positions.
Mountain star Jonny Steede from Glens Runners was almost a minute ahead of Richard Agnew and Kevin O’Boyle in the Men’s race with Ben Morrow, Luke Dinsmore and Daniel Quinn making up the top six.
Meanwhile, Zak Hanna and Martsje Hell took the top positions in the Giants Trail Race, hosted by Dub Runners at Upper Malone.
Hanna, from Newcastle, has been in great form in the mountains and adapted to the trail course as he won by over a minute from Danny McLaughlin of St Malachy’s with Barry Kelly of NICS in third.
North Belfast girl Martsje Hell successfully defended her title as she crossed the line a minute before Claire Harmon with come back athlete Roberta Dornan of North Down in third.
