Ireland’s Strongest Man 2014 Clark ‘The Bull’ Beck wowed onlookers at the Belfast Motor Show recently as he smashed the Irish deadlift hold record.

The Banbridge strongman shattered the record – orignally held by former Ireland’s Strongest Man Jonathon Kelly from Newtownabbey – by over 10 seconds.

Clark lifted a car, engine side for a staggering 51.02 seconds.

The Ultimate Strongman Giant weekend is due to take place in Crumlin Road Gaol over the August bank holiday weekend and will see strongmen from across Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland compete to see who will be crowned the UK’s strongest man and the Master World Strongman.
