The McKenna Cup semi-finals take place at the Athletic Grounds in Armagh as a double header on Sunday, with the first game between Monaghan and Down starting at 2pm.

Both sides progressed to the last four with good wins on Wednesday evening, and have both been showing solid early-season form.

The other semi-final sees Section C winners Tyrone face best runners-up Fermanagh.

Tyrone cruised into the last four with three wins out of three, as they beat Derry, Antrim and UUJ.

Mickey Harte will be most happy with the seamless return to action of Seán Cavanagh, who has marked his comeback from a serious shoulder injury with a series of superb displays.

Fermanagh recorded two good wins over Donegal and St. Mary’s to get this far.
