The date for the 2015 Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix has been confirmed as Saturday, August 8, with Bike Week commencing from August 3.
Practice will take place on Wednesday, August 5, followed by final qualifying and the Dundrod 150 National road races on Thursday, August 6.
Clerk of the course, Noel Johnston, said: “There will a lot of riders hoping to claim the title of the world’s fastest road racer in 2015, I certainly didn’t expect Bruce Anstey’s record to last this long.
“It’s great to be able to confirm the dates for next year’s racing. We’ve already had a lot of enquiries about the 2015 races and this early announcement will ensure that fans and competitors can start planning ahead.
“We’ve moved racing forward to accommodate the Manx Grand Prix which will make it easier for even more riders to come and compete. By the time Bike Week comes around you can be sure that we will once again have a world class line up of road racers on the grid.”
Kiwi Bruce Anstey was the star of the world’s fastest road race this year, claiming a brace in the Superbike and Supersport classes.
The 2015 dates announced on Tuesday are subject to formal agreement by the Motor Cycle Union of Ireland (MCUI).
