Monday’s Supersport and Superstock races at the Isle of Man TT have been delayed due to wet roads and fog on the mountain section of the course.
Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson announced that roads will remain open until 12pm, when a further decision will be made.
Isle of Man Government meteorologists have predicted a “cloudy but mostly dry” day with “extensive hill fog and coastal mist, [and] an odd light shower is possible.”
They added that “hill fog will slowly lift but it may linger over the hill tops.”
The first Monster Energy Supersport race had been pencilled in for a 10.45am start with the Royal London Superstock event originally scheduled for 2pm, both over four laps.
