The North Down athlete, a former Schools track champion, ran very well at Greenmount where she placed sixth in the Northern Ireland Championships and she possesses the right blend of speed and strength to succeed.
Lagan Valley have a very strong line-up with Catriona McCorkell and Julie Murphy second and fourth last year, former champion Suzanne Higgins on the comeback trail and mountain queen Shileen O’Kane.
North Belfast can dominate the men’s race with Alan O’Hara, Conor Magill and Andrew Considine all in good form.
Paul Blaney third last time behind Andrew Hicks and Aidan Magowan can feature along with Eddie Cooke.
Annadale Masters can come into consideration with Mark Wright and Paul Carroll while Nigel McKibbin of Dromore and Gary Keenan of Orangegrove will be worth watching along with Michael Magee of Beechmount fourth in the international meeting.
There will be a full programme of age group races starting with primary schools and going up to under 18s.
The promoting City of Lisburn club can produce an array of Ulster medallists with Jonny Whan, Zoe Carruthers, Madison Bowyer and Kate Gourley while Dromore’s Rebekah Nixon is a regular winner at this venue.
Beechmount can have Irish champion Christy Conlon, Eoin McCann and Odhran Copeland while Banbridge brothers Patrick and Rory McNiff were both winners at Moira last year.
