Clogher Valley won the Powerade Towns’ Cup on Easter Monday outscoring Donaghadee by two tries to one at Ravenhill.

Clogher fullback Paul Armstrong got the only points of the first half when he landed a 27th minute penalty.

Donaghadee hit back with a try from captain Alastair Lockhart following good work Nigel Barker and Max Montgomery.

Barker converted but missed a penalty before Clogher regained a lead.

Clogher kicked a penalty to touch and from the resulting lineout captain Stephen Baxter rumbled over from close range with Armstrong converting.

Barker missed another penalty for the Co Down side before Clogher wrapped the game up with their second try two minutes before the end.

Again they kicked a penalty to touch and winger Andrew Breen was powered over but Armstrong was off target with the conversion.
