Holders Clogher set for Towns’ Cup derby tie with Omagh

Towns’ Cup holders, Clogher Valley got the home draw they wanted in the quarter-finals, but they will come up against neighbours Omagh Accies on February 23.

In what is a repeat of last year’s semi-final which Clogher squeezed through with a last gasp try against the Kukri Section Two side.

Clogher are aiming to make it three straight Towns’ Cup successes and they already have the Junior Cup in the trophy cabinet at Fivemiletown - as well as the coveted prize of them all from the meeting of the Tyrone clubs ‘John Rainey’s Cap.’

Tuesday’s draw also saw Section Two leaders, Ballyclare given a home tie against Dromore.

The Clare have already edged past Section One opposition and will fancy their chances at home.

Ballynahinch II, losers in the Junior Cup final, will entertain Enniskillen while City of Derry II host Dungannon II complete the ties.
