Ulster Ravens finished their British and Irish Cup campaign on a high with a victory over the Cornish Pirates at Deramore.
The Pirates had won their previous five games and looked on course for another victory as the lead 13-3 and 20-10 at points in the match.
Ravens out half James McKinney gave the home side the prefect start with a penalty after a minute but he missed another kickable opportunity.
The Pirates soon hit back with a try from Max Evans.
From a scrum penalty Mike Pope took a quick tap, the ball was recycled and Alex Dancer broke two tackles before putting Evans clear with Angus Sinclair converting. The out half added two penalties for the Pirates.
Prop Adam Macklin got the Ravens first try from close range following a good break from Rory Scholes. McKinney converted to cut the Pirates half time lead to 13-10.
The Pirates got their second try on 51 minutes when flanker Joe Atkinson went over from close range and winger Kyle Moore converted.
Ravens Centre Stuart McCloskey scored a great individual try when he beat four defenders to go over.
McKinney converted and landed a penalty. Moore added another before Dave Shanahan won it with a last minute converted try.
