Ruddock replaces Muldoon in Ireland squad for clash with Argentina

Rhys Ruddock has been drafted into the Ireland squad to replace the injured John Muldoon ahead of Saturday’s Test against Argentina at the Aviva Stadium.

Muldoon tore his medial ligament during the 53-0 win Fiji in Limerick.

Muldoon is likely to be ruled out for 10 to 12 weeks.

Jonathan Sexton is set to train on Thursday after a groin injury.

The Leinster outhalf suffered the injury in the warm-up before the Fiji game.

The Ireland team and replacements for theclash with Argentina will be named on Thursday afternoon.
