Defending champions Methody booked their place in the Schools Cup final with a hard fought win over Wallace at the Dub.
A late try from hooker Steven Weir converted by Josh Bingham gave the Belfast school victory.
Wallace opening the scoring on 26 minutes in a first half that was littered with mistakes.
Methody kicked a penalty from their own 22 to touch, from the line out Wallace turned the ball over in the ruck and spun it into midfield, centre Ryan Branagh showed power and pace to hold off a defender and go under the posts with winger Ryan Moore converting.
Methody levelled the scores with the final play off the first half.
The Belfast school were awarded a penalty scrum half Frazer Wallace took a quick tap and fed captain Michael Lagan and the prop barged over with Bingham’s conversion making it 7-7 at the interval.
Wallace regained the lead two minutes after the restart with a great solo try from full back Philip Hylands as he showed his pace to go over from 10 metres.
Walalce had captain Callum Irvine sin binned and Methody kicked for touch, from the resulting lineout Weir touched down from a driving maul to seal victory.
