The Voice winner Andrea Begley, rugby legend Willie John McBride, the Ulster Orchestra and a few Ulster fanatics have combined to create a video urging fans to Stand Up For The Ulstermen.
The video features a unique rendition of the Ulster team’s anthem, and was produced in conjunction with sponsor Bank of Ireland ahead of the team’s Heineken Cup quarter-final next month.
Supporters are being asked to show their support in the most imaginative way possible to be in with a chance of winning pair of tickets for the game.
The best entries, from tweets to videos or photographs to a song, will be displayed on the big screen at Ravenhill before the match against Saracens on April 5 as the players warm up on the pitch.
To enter, tweet or Facebook your message, video or photograph using the hashtag #showURsupport or email your entry to firstname.lastname@example.org using the subject line – showURsupport before 5pm on Wednesday April 2.
The competition will be open until 5pm on Wednesday 2nd April.
A joke video posted by London club Saracens edited Willie John’s message from: “When you take on Ulster at Ravenhill, you are not only playing the 15 players on the pitch, you are playing the whole Province of Ulster,” to: “You’re not playing the whole province, you’re only playing 15 players, so you are.”
The video was posted on Monday night but had been removed by Wednesday.
