Four weeks in and Belfast’s Maria Doran has done well to escape the wrath of Lord Sugar in this year’s Young Apprentice.
The 17-year-old, whose passions include theatre and music, is sticking it out in London each week as the business mogul sets tough tasks to challenge even the brainiest business mind.
Before entering the show Maria said the biggest mistake anyone could make is to underestimate her - and she’s certainly proved her worth having seen off four contestants since the show began on November 1.
Maria, who is studying A-Levels in Business Studies, Drama and Politics said she loves to brainstorm for new ideas in television but also finds time to do charity work and shop.
Catch her on BBC One this Thursday for episode five of the show.
