Singer Ed Sheeran has reportedly said he would not be surprised if Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid and ex-Friends star Courteney Cos got married soon.

Cox, who played Monica Gellar in the hit television series, has been in a relationship with the Londonderry guitarist since the end of last year.

Ed, who introduced the pair, said the couple have moved in together and are very happy, the Daily Mirror reported.

“I’m not sure that it’s public knowledge, so maybe I shouldn’t have said anything – but, yes, they’re already living together,” it reported.

“Things are moving fast. He moved in and, judging by the last time I saw them, they couldn’t be happier.

“They get on really well and are genuinely good friends, pardon the pun.

“I wouldn’t be surprised (if they got married), but it’s still early days.

“They certainly enjoy each other’s company and feel very comfortable with each other.”

Last month the pair were pictured with First Minister Peter Robinson and deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness when the politicians visited America.
