Tickets are now on sale for the annual summer Belsonic music festival in Custom House Square, Belfast
Headline acts this year include English singer/songwriter and rapper Example. whose debut album was heavily hip-hop influenced. The artist recently collaborated with DJ Calvin Harris. He will perform at the open-air venue on August 15.
Meanwhile Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro - who formed in Kilmarnock in 1995 and well known for hit song Mountains - will be supported by Little Matador, the new band from Snow Patrol’s Nathan Conolly on Sunday, August 17.
Dublin quartet Kodaline and indie troubadour Tom Odell will perform on Monday, August 18.
Headline rockers Queens of the Stone Age will take to the stage at Custom House Square on Wednesday, August 20.
Then Las Vegas-based band Imagine Dragons - one of last year’s biggest breakthrough artists - will finish the line-up with a performance on Friday, August 22.
Tickets for Belsonic are priced from £7.50 and are now on sale via belsonic.com and all usual Ticketmaster outlets.
Music-lovers can also enjoy the Tennent’s Vital two-day music line-up 2014 which returns to Boucher Playing Fields, Belfast.
The first night of the festival, confirmed for August 21, will feature performances by American rockers The Killers, fronted by dishy frontman Brandon Flowers.
