The Voice UK is looking for the next Rachael O’Connor as the show’s producers visit Belfast for a ‘pre-audition meet and greet’ session ahead of the fourth series.
The schoolgirl was spotted during a visit to her school Limavady Grammar, last year and made it through to the show’s live rounds as part of Team Kylie.
The 17 year-old was knocked out at that stage despite having once been the bookies’ favourite, but the Londonderry girl is encouraging anyone interested in entering the competition to do so.
Tweeting shortly before Easter she said: “Anyone applying for Series 4 of The Voice Uk? Go on, do it! The voice team are awesome & you won’t regret it!”
While the ‘meet and greet’ sessions are not defined as auditions, those who attend will have to sing a song before they have a chat with producers about the show.
Warren Atkins said: “We are looking for either soloists or duos who believe that they have what it takes to become the next big thing.”
The meet and greet will be at Jury’s Inn Hotel on Wednesday April 30 between 12 noon and 4pm.
Interested parties must be 16 years of age or older on June 23 this year, and must have the right to live and work in the UK for over 20 hours per week.
The winner of The Voice 2015 will receive a record deal with record label giant Universal.
