Weekend of band events ahead

TOMORROW night Blackskull Orange and Blue will be hosting their annual band night in Banbridge Orange Hall.

A very high quality line-up this year includes Drumderg Loyalists Flute, Loyal Sons of Benagh Flute, Quilly True Blues Flute, Sons of Ulster Flute Dromore, Craigavon Protestant Boys Flute and Bessbrook True Blues Flute. Doors will be open at 8pm, with admission £5. On Saturday night the Pride of the Orange and Blue host a concert and disco in Newbuildings Community Centre, starting at 8.30pm. Admission is £5 and free for band members who are under 16. Confirmed bands include Pride of Orange Limavady, Cormeen Rising Sons of William Killylea and Blair Memorial Pride of Omagh. Elsewhere in Londonderry on Saturday night the East Bank Protestant Boys are hosts in the Masonic Hall. Line-up includes Castlederg Young Loyalists, Star of the Roe Limavady and Burntollet Sons of Ulster. In south Londonderry the Maghera Sons of William Flute host a night in the R and N Lounge, with guest bands the Coleraine duo of Freeman Memorial and Pride of the Bann.
