The Best Restaurant in Ulster has just been nominated for even more awards

But thanks to its reputation for fantastic service and excellent food, the restaurant has exploded onto the local foodie map, and already boasts a plethora of awards.

Kelan McMichael is the man behind the innovative County Down venue that set up shop in a historic Northern Ireland butcher’s shop, lovingly restoring the iconic Grade 1 listed old Edwardian building to its former glory.

He set out from the outset to serve only the highest quality, local meat, aged to perfection, and served in warm and welcoming surroundings, and by doing so has already won such highly respected titles as the Best Restaurant in Ulster at the Good Eating Awards in May, less than a year after opening.

Now, the Bull & Ram has announced it has been Shortlisted for Newcomer of the Year, Outstanding Customer Service and Restaurant of the Year at the Licensed & Catering Awards.
