International popstar Rihanna, who claims to have 62.5 million fans one facebook, is to perform in Dublin on 21 June.

The Rihanna Diamonds World Tour, which begins on 8 March in the United States, is scheduled to stop in more than 28 cities across North America prior to its European segment. The European tour starts in Bilbao, Spain on 26 May and runs through July with stops already announced in Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Holland, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

It was just confirmed this evening that Irish fans will also have the chance to catch Rihanna on her Diamonds World Tour when it visits the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on Friday, 21 June. Tickets start from from €59.50 inclusive of booking fee go on sale at 8am this Friday, 30 November from Ticketmaster outlets and online at www.ticketmaster.ie. Complete tour itinerary below.

Rihanna is currently dominating global charts with “Diamonds,” the fastest-rising single of her career to date, and the first single from ‘UNAPOLOGETIC’ her 7th studio album for Island Def Jam in just seven years – released 19 November. “Diamonds” also just marked Rihanna’s 12th time at number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and with only a six-year, one-month, two-week stretch between her first #1 chart topper with “SOS” on May 13, 2006 and the release of Diamonds last week, she is officially the fastest female artist ever to receive 12 number one titles at the top of the Hot 100, a spokesman for the singer said.
