John Bishop is winging it

After the sell-out success of his shows here in last month, comedy superstar John Bishop has announced an extra instalment of his Winging It tour in Belfast in January, which will come to the Waterfront Hall on January 18,

Making the announcement last week, the funnyman said: “I am delighted by the reaction to Winging It and can’t wait to bring the show back to Belfast and Dublin in January, where the tour began.

“The people of Ireland are always a great crowd to perform to and it’s going to be a fantastic couple of nights. It’s been three years since my last live tour and it’s great to be back out on the road, performing in front of live audiences. I’ve had nightly standing ovations, the audience have been overwhelming.”

Winging It sees John back on stage for his fifth UK and Ireland tour, performing in his own inimitable style. His last tour, Supersonic, was watched by more than 500,000 people and received huge critical acclaim. Rollercoaster in 2012 was another sell out, and followed the successes of his Sunshine tour in 2011, and the Elvis Has Left The Building show in 2010, for which he was nominated for an Edinburgh Comedy Award.
