Quad-X launch new series of sprayers and dump trailers

Hide AdQuad-X sprayers provide a welcome alternative to a knapsack and are much handier to set up than large tractor sprayers. They can be used on any ATV or utility vehicle and Quad-X can also provide connections for using their sprayers with tractors or 4x4s. Quad-X offer a range of sprayers and booms to suit different budgets and different users, with sprayers from 60L capacity to 230L and booms from 5ft to 16ft spray width.
The most popular Quad-X sprayer is the Pro Spray, equipped with a high capacity pump carrying a 3-year warranty, which is ideal for both spot spraying and boom spraying. It fits onto any ATV in seconds, has a thick wall UV protected tank and comes with 5 metres of hose and a durable non-corrosive aluminium lockable hand lance. To help save time and hassle it has a drain plug for easy drainage of tank contents. If you already have a sprayer tank, Quad-X can offer a range of compatible booms from a 5ft spray width to 16ft.
Meanwhile, Quad-X recently launched a new commercial spec dump trailer at the Balmoral Show. This adds to the comprehensive range of 100+ ATV attachments made by the firm in Ballymena, Co Antrim.
The dump trailer has been engineered for strength and durability, with farmers, groundcare contractors, landscapers, amenities and equestrian customers in mind. Quad-X currently offer an extensive range of six models of tipping trailer, ideal for round the farm and garden. This new trailer has been developed to a heavy duty specification for heavier loads and for use with larger ATVs and utility vehicles (UTVs) or compact tractors. A hand pump is available to assist with tipping. When used with an ATV/UTV or tractor an optional electric hydraulic tipping mechanism is available to easily tip at the push of a button, while compact tractors use the tractor hydraulics to tip.

Hide AdThe pivot bogie suspension allows for easier towing over uneven terrain giving extra stability, with knobby flotation tyres making it suitable for wet conditions, and a swivel hitch for safety. The body has been designed for maximum strength using alloy material to keep weight to a minimum. Greasable bushes are used for long life.
Using their extensive knowledge of ATV equipment, the Quad-X engineers have considered the finer details to ensure that the trailer design creates less drag when tipping a large load from the 1000 Litre capacity dump trailer.
