Road closed due to house fire - motorists advised to avoid the area

A road in Londonderry has been closed while the emergency services deal with a house fire.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “The Rossdowney Road is closed at the junction with Ardlough Road in Londonderry as Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service deal with a fire at residential premises in the area this morning.

“Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative main routes for their journey.”

There are no further details at present.
