Head coach Dan McFarland is not big on backlash, instead he wants Ulster to be better week on week.
With Connacht visiting Belfast on Friday night Ulster have the opportunity to make a statement, in a similar way perhaps Munster did to them last week after a disappointing defeat to Cardiff.
Munster inflicted a new record loss on Ulster with a 64-7 win at Limerick's Thomond Park.
