100% clearance at pedigree Limousin sale

Hilltown Livestock Mart hosted the NI Limousin Cattle Club sale of Unhaltered and Haltered Females on Bank Holiday Monday, 29th August.

The evening sale was extremely well supported with a 100% clearance rate with 17 females sold to an average £1731(+£6)

Hitting the top price of 2,600gns was cow & calf unit bred by J Quail, Banbridge Lynderg Ingemar together with her 2016 born heifer calf Lynderg Megan. This cow is a half sister to Lynderg Hero and her calf is sired by Lynderg Dimitri a Sympa son and was purchased by G Rodgers, Dromara.

Following with the second best price of 2,400gns was Robineed Loverlylady bred by Messrs D & D Robinson, Lisnaskea. This June 2015 born heifer is sired by the noted Carmorn Copilot and is out of home bred Robineed Crystal who carries Ronick Hawk bloodlines. She now heads to new owner and pedigree breeder Miskelly from Ballynahinch.

The third top price of 2,200gns went to Togheradoo Leslie bred by V Keys, Dromore, Co Tyrone. This August 2015 born heifer is sired by the Haltcliffe Dancer. She is out of the homebred dam Togherdoo Eleen a Wilodge Vantastic daughter. This young female now heads to new owner Neill Martin, Dromara.
