Caramba Beef Shorthorns pioneer on line sale

A new online platform for selling pedigree and commercial livestock has been launched, and features as its first listing a first class selection of Beef Shorthorn cattle from the noted Caramba herd of Tom Staunton.

The online auction includes a first class selection of yearling beef shorthorn bulls and heifers. Also featuring are recipients carrying embryos out of the outstanding Caramba Rothes Hottie who was notched up two All Ireland titles, Breed Champion at Tullamore and Female Champion at Balmoral 2015. www.pedigreesales.co.uk went live on the first of April with prospective customers invited to view and select from over 20 lots mostly comprising of the 2015 born Caramba bulls and heifers. Also listed were embryos and two recipients carrying embryos from “Caramba Rothes Hottie” who has been undefeated in the show ring.

All lots are detailed with reserve prices and registered users are able to bid above these threshold figures. This then activates a countdown times which starts at 72 hours and counts down to zero. If there are no higher offers then the bidder is successful!

Already this formula is proving to be popular as two lots were bid for on the opening day, and are now secured by purchasers. A number of other lots have also attracted offers, or have been shortlisted as favourites by users on the website. Each lot has been photographed, and in some case video footage is also available. Full pedigree history is detailed for consideration, with any points of interest such as show and sale success history of parents.
