McAfee Auctions hold first sale of 2021 in Portrush

The sale on the January 14 is the entire contents of 12 Apollo Crescent, Portrush, and includes lots of household furnishings, a large collection of paintings and pictures, collectibles, clocks, large collection of first day covers and some silver and jewellery.

Among the furniture is a good dining room table and chair set, a three piece leather suite, a selection of small chests, bookshelves, bedroom furniture including beds, wardrobes and bedside cabinets, and the contents of an office including desk, filing cabinet etc. Among the collectibles are a collection of Belleek, pieces of worcester, lots of doulton ladies, crystal, tea and dinner sets, and a large and varied collection of first day covers, stamps etc.

Clocks include a nice mahogany cased vienna clock, cuckoo clock and an inlaid mantle clock, and there are some pieces of solid silver, some coins and some jewellery. Other items in the auction include two polescreesn, lots of mirrors, tv, music centre, records, books, table lamps, prints, kitchenware, clothes dryer and usual household effects.
