Digger stolen at Sixmilecross

Police are appealing for information following the theft of a digger from land in the Tullyneil Road area of Sixmilecross, Omagh.

Constable Bennett said: “It was reported between the hours of 8.00pm on Wednesday 5th October and 7.30am on Thursday 6th October, an orange Hitachi 130 LCN digger was stolen. The digger is described as having a large grey sticker on the jib. It is believed the digger was loaded on to a trailer or lorry and driven off in the direction of Sixmilecross.

“We are appealing to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area or anyone who may have information regarding this incident to contact Omagh Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 218 on 06/10/16. Or, if someone would prefer to make a report without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
