Dungannon firm to deliver 30 trailers

Bmi trailers who recently celebrated 20 years in business is the leading manufacturer of walking floor and ejector trailers in the UK and Ireland.

bmi trailers have designed, manufactured and commissioned high spec trailers, they lead the way with innovative new designs on trailers, sheeting systems and waste compaction vehicle equipment and their dedicated teams constantly establish new products, new markets, new partners and new successes. Monks Contractors who are based in Mellor Brook in Lancashire, have been working with bmi Trailers since 2007, and have developed a great relationship, where they share design ideas and Monks are the ‘go-to’ company.

Recently Monks have joined bmi’s national service network and can provide excellent service back - within their own fleet and other customers based in or passing through the North West region.

The trailer order is split between 16 bmi ejector trailers and 14 bmi Moving floor® trailers. The bmi ejector is the industry benchmark product for off-road bulk waste handling. Their popular and market leading moving floor trailers, of which Monks Contractors already run several on their existing fleet, is the choice of many of the UK’s leading waste management processors and hauliers.

Both sets of trailers feature several new safety features at the request of Chris Monk, these include tyre auto inflation, roll stability, remote control functions for floor system, sheeter and air assisted rear door lock release, all features to provide maximum safety benefits for the drivers on this contract.
