Editor’s message: How the News Letter looks Monday-Saturday as lockdown eases

I would like to welcome back some of our readers who, thanks to the easing of lockdown, have been able to read the News Letter again over recent days.

It’s been a very challenging time for everyone, but throughout this crisis, we have still been able to publish every day.

All of our main platforms are still available to read every day, with some additions. Every Thursday (as you see today from pages 21-28), we have a new retro supplement called Bygone Days of Yore, celebrating parades from years gone by. This will be running through the summer weeks on a Thursday for those missing their parading fix.

On Friday we have a eight-page puzzles supplement, while on Saturday, we have Farming Life, and a number of great writes in the News Letter, including Ben Lowry, Sam McBride and Sandra Chapman, and the weekly churches page by Billy Kennedy.

Graeme Cousins writes quirky stories from around the Province on Mondays, when Alex Kane also provides his weekly column, while on Tuesday Laura McMullan delivers her big weekly interview in My Farming Life.

On Wednesday, we have our midweek edition of Farming Life and our weekly column from Jonny McCambridge.

You can get the News Letter for 20% cheaper every day if you take up a subscription. For more details please look at page 13 of today’s paper. We have also started a home delivery service for certain postcodes.

We have a great digital subscription offer, with the chance to read everything on our website for just £1 for the first three months.

Welcome back everyone and thanks to those readers who have continued to buy us through this crisis.
