Fire at children’s play park slammed by PSNI - ‘this type of behaviour is not helpful’ - appeal made for information

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fire was started in a children’s play park off the Lambeg Road/Station Road, Lambeg.

According to a post on Police Lisburn and Castlereagh the incident happened on July 21 around 9pm.

The post adds: “This type if behaviour is not helpful or welcome and we would like to speak to whoever was involved.

“If you know who was responsible we would like to hear from you through private message, 101 quoting police reference number 2181 of 21/7/2020 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111”.
