Markethill Mart: Heavy lambs sell to Â£92 for 28.5 kilos
An entry of 1,390 sheep in Markethill on Wednesday 22nd November continued to sell in a very firm trade.
Heavy lambs sold to a top of £92 for 28.5 kilos with good quality pens selling from 340p to 363p per kilo for 24 kilos at £87 each followed by 361p for 24 kilos at £88 each. Most pens sold from £86 to £90 each.
Good quality middleweight lambs sold from 345p to 367p per kilo with a top of 381p for 20.5 kilos at £78 each.
Store trade was very firm with light stores selling from 380p to 418p per kilo for 15.9 kilos at £66.50 each.
Stronger stores sold from 360p to 394p for 18.4 kilos at £72.50 each.
