Novosco only NI firm shortlisted for UK-wide cloud awards

Managed cloud provider Novosco has been shortlisted for a prestigious UK-wide industry award.

The Belfast based company has been shortlisted for ‘Best Cloud Support Provider’ in the 2017 Computing Cloud Excellence Awards – the only Northern Ireland company to make the shortlist.

The Cloud Excellence Awards recognise the very best of the UK’s cloud industry, including the most innovative and compelling products and vendors.

Commenting on the shortlist announcement, Novosco managing director, Patrick McAliskey, said: “We are thrilled to be shortlisted in the ‘Best Cloud Support Provider’ category in the upcoming 2017 Cloud Excellence Awards.

“This recognises the world-class talent we have at Novosco, and I hope helps highlight the calibre of people and companies we have here in Northern Ireland.

“Most importantly, being shortlisted for the awards recognises the commitment of our team across Novosco’s offices in Belfast, Cork, Dublin and Manchester. They have had some great successes in the past year, and this award is down to their hard work and excellence,” he added.

Novosco is a managed cloud provider with clients in the public, private and voluntary sectors across the UK and Ireland, including Premiership football teams, some of the UK’s largest health trusts and many of Northern Ireland’s top companies.

Employing 150 people, Novosco has offices in Belfast, Manchester, Dublin, and Cork.

The awards ceremony will take place in London on September 20.
